Tamil Nadu youth caught with fake currency, equipment in Malappuram

A native of Tamil Nadu was arrested in connection with distributing counterfeit currency in Malappuram. Acting on a tip-off, police caught him red-handed along with the equipment used in making the fake currency.

Malappuram (Kerala): Acting on a tip-off, Kondotty Police caught a man hailing from Tamil Nadu red-handed, with fake currency notes and equipment used in its making, in Kerala's Malappuram on Monday.

Satheesh, a native of Pallippadi in Gudallur, was arrested by the police while he was trying to distribute counterfeit currency notes in different towns of the district.

The police acted swiftly on the information provided by the District Police Chief.

Further investigation into the matter is underway.
