School student goes missing at Perinjanam beach in Kerala

Two school students who had gone to visit Perinjanam beach in Kerala's Thrissur district were reported missing on Monday. one of them was later rescued and sent to the local hospital for treatment.

Thrissur (Kerala): Two school students who had gone to visit Perinjanam beach in Kerala's Thrissur district were reported missing on Monday.

The missing students were Alson (14) and Delvin (13).

Delvin was later rescued and sent to the local hospital for treatment.

According to sources, a group of students were playing football on the beach. The duo had gone to fetch the ball from the sea and subsequently drowned themselves.

Kaipamangalam police, Azhikode coastal police and fishermen are on the search for missing student.
