Palakkad (Kerala): Members of the Sangh Parivar on Saturday disrupted the shooting of a Malayalam movie as its story revolved around a love affair between a Hindu and a Muslim, it is alleged.
The cast and crew of 'Neeyam Nadhi' were shooting at the premises of Kadambazhipuram Vayilyam Temple in Palakkad. The film crew said the shooting was being undertaken only after receiving due permission from the temple authorities.
The crew members said the Sangh Parivar members told them to narrate the story. As the members of the saffron outfits were not convinced with the storyline, they not only destroyed the shooting equipment but also threatened that they will not let the crew shoot any further.
The crew has decided to shift to a new location, sources said.
