Wayanad:The migratory butterflies which come in search of colder climates to places along the Western Ghats in Kerala are on their return, this year.
The reverse migration of these butterflies which reach Wayanad every year is usually complete before the onset of monsoons.
As many as 46 different types of butterflies, including Blue tiger butterflies and Common Indian Crow butterflies (Neelakkaduva and Arali shalabham in Malayalam), migrate to Wayanad in search of colder climates every year.
