Man hangs himself after wife commits suicide

The man, identified as Siju, was employed as a bus conductor with a private operator in Kerala. He is believed to have taken the extreme step after his wife committed suicide with her toddler son over marital issues, reports said.

Kollam: A man in Kerala was found dead at his house in Kundara, following the recovery of the bodies of his wife and toddler who are believed to have committed suicide a day earlier. The deceased was identified as Siju, a conductor with a private bus company.

The police who reached the spot found him hanging in his house.

Rakhi, his wife and Adi, three-year-old son jumped into the Ashtamudi backwaters near Kundra. People had initiated an investigation after they were missing since October 25.

The police also stated that they committed suicide due to marital problems.
