Kollam:3-year-old dies after consuming hotel food

Hours after consuming food from a hotel, a three-year-old girl died in the hospital. The incident happened on Monday night when the girl was taken to the hospital after she felt nauseous. Later she was declared dead.

Kollam:A three-year-old girl died after consuming food from a hotel in Chadayamangalam on Monday night. Gauri Nanda, daughter of Sagar and Priya Nanda, felt nauseous after having food.

Her parents rushed her to the hospital. Later she was declared dead.

Chadayamangalam police have started the investigation after the relatives filed a complaint regarding the incident.

"The exact cause of the death can be determined only after receiving the autopsy report", said a food security official.

The investigation is in progress under the Food Security Department.
