Kerala's Ashtamudi Lake all set for adventure tourism activities

In India, chances for travellers to indulge in adventure tourism activities are mostly on Goan beaches. However, now the travellers can now enjoy and indulge in adventure tourism activities in Kerala as well.

Kollam (Kerala): Ashtamudi Lake, the most popular place in Kollam, surrounded by lush green trees and swaying coconut palms is all set adventure tourism activities.

Jet skiing and fly board rides are all set to begin at the lake to facilitate adventure tourism activities.

As part of the Ashtamudi Lake View Project, many tourism centres in and along Ashtamudi Lake have been connected.

Jet Ski and Fly Boards have been brought here.

In the jet ski, besides the rider, one more person can ride along at a speed of 110 kilometres per hour.

On fly boards, one can float or fly over the water at a high water pressure and dive into the water bodies.

The rider’s feet are fastened to the connected board in a model which looks like a shoe.

When the water reaches the board through a tube fixed behind at high pressure, the Fly board moves at a high speed.

The services would be operated from the Adventure Park.

After fixing the rates for the adventure ride services within two weeks, the rides would be made operational.
