Thiruvananthapuram: Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital in Kerala has ordered a probe after staff reportedly served coffee from a ward where bodies of coronavirus patients were kept.
The incident came to light after patients recorded a video showing staff in protective suit keeping a coffee kettle and cups near the remains of a patient on a stretcher.
"The body being kept near where the morning beverages were distributed cannot be justified. A report has been sought and action will be taken accordingly so that it will not be repeated," said College Superintendent Dr Sharmad.
