Kerala health workers tie up abroad returnee after he violates quarantine

A man who recently returned from Riyadh in Saudi Arabia was found breaking the quarantine norms and was caught by the police in Pathanamthitta. Reportedly, he even refused to follow the instructions given by the police, following which, the health workers had to forcefully tie his hands and legs to take him to the hospital.

Pathanamthitta (Kerala): Amid the lockdown induced by the COVID-19 crisis, a resident from here arrived from Riyadh in Saudi Arabia was found violating the lockdown regulations.

Reportedly, the man was in the home quarantine and was found wandering around on his two-wheeler without wearing a mask at the town checkpoint.

When caught by the police, he informed that he left his home following a quarrel with his wife and he even refused to carry out the instructions of the police as well.

Meanwhile, he started running away from the spot following which, the health workers had to forcefully tie his hands and legs and took him to the hospital.
