Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan did not attend the video conference meeting of CMs with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday.
Kerala instead gave its suggestions on the COVID-19 situation in writing.
Vijayan decided to depute State Chief Secretary Tom Jose as his state was not allowed to speak at the meeting. Kerala already spoke in the previous meet held by the PM and only seven states were allowed to give their inputs orally in Monday's meet.
Other states had been asked to give in writing what they wished to say.
