New Delhi:Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has reached Delhi for the first time after being re-elected. On Tuesday, he also met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and on Thursday, the Communist Party of India (Marxist) organised a reception for him at the Kerala Bhavan in Delhi. Pinarayi Vijayan has revealed that during his meeting with the Prime Minister, he said to PM that now the elections are over, the Centre will have to discharge its responsibility towards the states. He further added that in response, the Prime Minister said that he would do the needful.
While addressing the Left leaders, activists and media present in Kerala Bhavan, CM Vijayan revealed the secret behind his success in Kerala. Pinarayi Vijayan is the first Chief Minister of Kerala to be re-elected and the Left Democratic Front (LDF) is also the first coalition government in Kerala that successfully managed to retain power in the state.

The Veteran CPI(M) leader considers the alternative policy of the government behind this and the public's trust as the main reason. He said that during the election, the LDF had placed a 900-point manifesto in front of the public and after forming the government, the work commenced on preparing a roadmap of fifty schemes in the very first cabinet meeting.
