Pathanamthitta: Former Governor of Mizoram and BJP leader, Kummanam Rajasekharan has been named as the accused in a money fraud case registered by Aranmula police. The complainant, Harikrishnan stated that the leader along with eight others swindled Rs 28.75 lakhs from him in 2018 as partnership deal for setting up a company in Palakkad.

As nothing materialised, the complainant was convinced of the fraud and proceeded legally. The BJP leader's personal assistant, Praveen V Pillai is the prime accused. Vijayan, Saviour are two others. The police have registered the case under the offence of cheating.
