Kerala: A major fire broke out at Mittai Theruvu in Kozhikode, no casualties

A major fire broke out at SM street also known as Mittai Theruvu. The fire broke out at a sandal's showroom near Moideen Mosque road. Two women who were inside at the time of fire have been rescued by fire fighting team.

Kozhikode (Kerala): A major fire broke out at the SM street also known as Mittai Theruvu. The fire broke out at a sandal's showroom near Moideen Mosque road. Two women who were inside at the time of fire have been rescued by fire fighting team.

Five units of the fire department reached the spot to douse the flames. The fire was brought under control by the fire brigade, without spreading to the nearby gas godown and to the shop where the plastic products were stored.
