Kasaragod: In a positive development, Kasaragod district which was earlier the hotspot of coronavirus pandemic in Kerala is now treading back to survival.
In the last three days, Kasaragod district marked a remarkable 37 per cent COVID-19 recovery rate.
In India, the rates stand at 11.4 per cent. America, however, lags much behind with just 5.7 per cent recovery in the COVID-19 cases.
Kasaragod General Hospital is also credited for the highest number of COVID-19 recovery cases in the whole nation.

The staff at the hospital who took care of them risking their own lives sent them off amidst claps and cheers.
In the second stage of the spread, 165 persons have been confirmed to have contracted COVID-19. Out of the 165, 60 persons have already left the hospital. Rest of the 105 patients are undergoing treatment.
After continuous 17 days of fresh cases being reported, today there was absolutely no new COVID-19 case reported in the district.
