Thiruvananthapuram: The CPM State Secretariat decided that the LDF Minister K T Jaleel need not resign from his office in the name of the current political allegations.
In the name of protests, the BJP and Congress parties have brought in goondas and tried to instigate conflict and chaos, observed the CPM State Secretariat. The interrogation of Minister Jaleel by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and the following political scenario was examined in detail by the CPM State Secretariat.
The CPM State Secretariat concluded that until K T Jaleel is listed as an accused in the case by the investigating agency, there is no question of righteousness.
Jaleel had clarified to the State Secretariat that he had used a private vehicle instead of his official vehicle while travelling to the NIA office for safety reasons. The Secretariat was also convinced by that explanation.
