Cinematographer recreates miniature 'Jungle Book' during lockdown

Kannur:This native of Taliparamba in Kerala, is making full use of the COVID-19 lockdown period. Instead of merely whiling away time, Priyan attempts to make miniatures using whatever resources and material he has at his disposal.

Priyan, who is also a cinematographer makes miniatures and his house has enough creations to showcase and has earned the title of ‘miniature factory’.

He mostly uses twigs, hay, cardboard, mud and plaster of Paris for his work.

Recently, after getting inspired by the movie 'Jungle Book', he created a jungle replica.

He collected twigs, small shrubs, hay and other materials and in two days' time, the miniature model was set.

He has also made a lorry with cardboard and an elephant with plaster of Paris.

The movie titled ‘Kanthan – The Lover of Colour'was cinematographed by Priyan. The movie last year bagged the Kerala State Award for the best film.
