Malappuram: Nabeel, from Edarikkod, Kottakkal in Malappuram district of Kerala, who set an example by being honest, was surprised by the online shopping giant Amazon’s gesture.
Nabeel had placed an order for a power bank worth Rs 1400 with the Amazon online shopping site on August 10. It was bought for the phone that his sister uses for her online classes. Within a week after placing the order, Amazon’s parcel reached Nabeel’s home. On opening it, he found that it was an android phone worth Rs 8000.
Nabeel informed Amazon customer care about their mistake in delivering a mobile phone instead of a power bank device through a tweet and was about to return it.
Realising their blunder, the online shopping giant appreciated Nabeel for his honesty. Amazon authorities informed him that the phone need not be returned to them and that he could use it.
