Bengaluru: BS Yediyurappa, who recently stepped down from the post of Karnataka chief minister, is gearing up to retain his image in public as he aims to enhance his charisma in state politics. The 79-year-old always wanted to remain surrounded by the public to deal with their issues as a mass leader. Not just confined to the Lingayat community, he is also working to build confidence among people until the next election.
To achieve his goal he is preparing to hold a statewide tour to take stock of the party affairs and also address the grievances of the people at the grassroots level. He organises visits to different taluks each week to remain intact with the public and prove his political capability.
