Chikkamagaluru: Heartwarming scenes were witnessed at Mudigere village in Karnataka's Chikkamagaluru district, as women tied 'rakhis' as a gratitude to the NDRF personnel, who have been deployed for undertaking flood relief operations in the state.

This gesture had gone viral on social media, where the women, beaming with smiles, can be seen tying the 'rakhis' on the wrists of the personnel, who were on their way to another location in Karnataka.

The NDRF personnel later offered biscuits to the women and were seen teary-eyed while leaving from the village after the rescue operation.
