WATCH: National Highway turns into a 'Dance Floor'

The waterlogged national highway was transformed into a dance-floor by the residents of Yamagarni village in Karnataka's Belagavi. They played music in high volume and danced on the Nippani - Kolhapur road.

Belagavi (Karnataka): Residents of Yamagarni village in Karnataka's Belagavi seems to have found an unlikely place to shake a leg!

For the past several weeks, the northern part of the state has been experiencing severe flooding, throwing normal life out of gear.

While people have been struggling to deal with the calamity, locals of the village chose to face the adversity by dancing on the waterlogged national highway: Nippani - Kolhapur road.

In a video, which has gone viral on social media, locals, submerged in knee-deep/waist-deep waters, can be seen dancing to loud music on the national highway.
