Pilot's timely intervention averts air incident in Bengaluru

A Lufthansa aircraft taking off from Bengaluru faced a technical glitch Thursday. There were 78 passengers on the plane headed to Frankfurt.

Bengaluru (Karnataka):A Lufthansa aircraft faced a technical glitch during take-off from Kempegowda International Airport on Thursday morning. Timely intervention by the pilot averted a disaster and ensured the aircraft landed safely back at the airport.

Lufthansa Flight - LH755 took off from the Kempegowda International Airport (KIAL) at 7 am. The flight was heading to Frankfurt City. While taking off, the pilot and his co-pilot noticed a technical error in the front wheel, announced an emergency and contacted the Air Traffic Control immediately.

After getting instructions from the ATC, the pilot flew around for more than an hour and later landed safely at KIAL. All 78 passengers on the plane escaped unhurt due to the presence of mind shown by the pilots.
