Bengaluru:The Central Crime Branch personnel have taken another suspect into custody on the information given by the suspected terrorist who was arrested by the CCB police on the charge of inciting the Jihad war through social media. Juba, who belongs to Assam was arrested in Salem, Tamilnadu, and brought to Bangalore.
Akhtar Hussain, a native of Assam, who lived in Tilak Nagar in Bangalore, was arrested yesterday by the CCB police and investigated. Juba, who lived in Tamilnadu, was in contact with him. Both are from Assam. It is said that they were in contact with militants of Al Qaeda and ISIS terrorist organizations. On the information given by Akhtar Hussain during the interrogation, CCB's special team conducted an operation and arrested the suspect in Salem, and brought him to the city.
Earlier, Karnataka Police arrested a suspected Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist and detained four other persons in a late-night operation in Bengaluru, sources said on Monday.
