Mysuru:The sound system and lighting business owners in the city who used to have swift business during the Mysuru Dussehra festival are facing the brunt of the pandemic corona with no takers of their services and the Karnataka government announcing a low-key event this year.
Every year during the ten-day Dussehra festival the city used to be decked up with lights and colours along with blaring music in nook and corners of the city.
With little to no business throughout this year, the business owners hoped that the festive season would bring in money but the government's order came as another blow.
