Sonu Sood helps Karnataka couple with essential supplies, adds on to list of good deeds

Yadgir: From making his debut in a Tamil movie in 1999 to the philanthropist we all know today, Actor Sonu Sood has sure come a long way and the list of his good deeds keep increasing.

Recently, the 47-year-old actor helped a poor couple from Ramasamudra village in Yadagiri district of Karnataka after he came to know about their triplets.

Nagaraj and Padma became parents of three children on Monday. Due to their weak financial position, the couple was struggling to cater to the infants.

After a local journalist, Mallikarjuna Hattikooni texted Sood requesting help for the couple, the actor readily agreed and send basic supplies and essential households to them from Amazon delivery.

He also promised financial help to the triplets and extended regards through a video message.

Previously too, Sood had helped stranded migrant labourers get back to their homes by arranging transport facilities.

Apart from providing food, he also donated a tractor to a farmer in Andhra Pradesh, following a viral video in which a farmer was seen using his daughters for ploughing as he could not afford to rent oxen.
