Bengaluru: SIT officials have summoned the woman in the Jarkiholi CD case to the Adugodi Technical Center on Wednesday. ACP Kavita had recorded her statement under CRPC 161 on Tuesday.

It is reported that investigators who completed the investigation on Tuesday have issued a notice to appear before them on Wednesday as well.

Jagadeesh, the young woman's advocate who spoke at Adugodi Technical Cell, said that she gave a statement in court under section 164. Officers will get a voice sample of the young woman. They cannot arrest her.

"We have not handed over the young woman to the SIT. I requested to make a statement under CRPC 161 before the inspectors. Inspectors are recording a statement on that. The police will not arrest the young woman. We have presented the young woman before the court", he said.

What did the young lady say before the Judge?

There is a possibility that she gave a statement under CRPC 164 as said in the complaint. In most cases, the victims should not rule out the fact that they have referred to the court in their complaint.

Former minister Ramesh Jarkiholi has been directly accused in her statement.

She had apparently approached the minister to discuss about a short film after which the minister was in touch with her. She trusted him that he would provide her a government job, according to her statement.
