Bengaluru: Volunteers inoculated with the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine would receive the second dose today in Karnataka.
Due to technical glitches, the inoculation drive which was scheduled for February 13 got postponed to February 15. A total of 13,408 people were vaccinated on January 16 and they are advised to be administered with the second dose.

As people would be protected against the virus only after administering the second dose, it is mandatory that they receive the second dose.
A total of 4,09,836 health workers and 86,798 frontline workers were given the first dose of vaccine. Minister Sudhakar tweeted that 50 per cent of health workers and 30 per cent of frontline workers have achieved the target.
