Bengaluru: The Riders Republic motorcycle club in association with Bangalore City Police Department has decided to deliver critical “Pharmaceutical drugs” /”Lifesaving drugs”/”Essentials” to interiors of the State.
Riding club members met East DCP Bheema Shankar Guled, who asked the biking fraternity to extend their support to help deliver medicines for critical people across the state.
Right during discussions with DCP, a lady constable requested help in getting medicines delivered to her mother in Hassan. DCP was very kind in speaking with someone to have it delivered.
We had just found one way we could be of immediate help said riding club.
"We asked DCP if we could help in a medical emergency, a novel concept of “Ride to save lives”. DCP spoke with the Commissioner of Bengaluru Police, Bhaskar Rao. The permission was granted and we agreed to support this noble cause. This novel idea now will allow reaching those in need of support across the length and breadth of Karnataka, even the most remote places," riding club member said.
The need is to deliver essential medication for chronic ailments like cancer, haemophilia, psychiatric medication, and others. We now request our entire RR Family to sponsor the drugs and help deliver them to those in need they urged.
