Bagalkote: Father of a techie who has been picked up for questioning by Delhi Police from Bagalkote, expressed his confidence in his son's return in two days, in an exclusive interaction with ETV Bharat. He said his son has been 'summoned' by the Delhi Police in connection with the December 13 Parliament security breach.
A 30-year-old Saikrishna Jagali, son of retired Deputy Superintendent of Police of Bagalakote, Vittal Jagali, is currently appearing before the Delhi Police, probing the antecdents of Manoranjan who jumped into Lok Sabha from the visitors gallery before being overpowered by the MPs.
While interrogating Manoranjan, the police have collected the information regarding his friends and roommates. As per sources, Saikrishna was Manoranjan's batchmate at the Bangalore Institute of Technology (BIT) and both of them were staying in the same room for sometime.
Saikrishna's father said that his son was summoned for questioning because Manoranjan and Saikrishna were roommates. "Police will conduct a proper interrogation and send him back in two days. We will give out comprehensive information after he is back," he told Etv Bharat.
