Bengaluru:The National Investigation Agency (NIA) officers carried out searches at the houses of Jammu and Kashmir Coalition of Civil Society (JKCCS) chief Khurram Parvez and his pupil, independent researcher Swati Seshadri in relation to terror funding and anti-national activities.
Officials collected information about her and alleged that she had transferred money from Dubai to Bangalore NGO.
Swati, originally a resident of Mumbai has done two master degrees and went on to work in 1999 with an M.Com in Backing Finance and an MA in Sociology. She has worked as Equity Research Analyst in Mumbai, then Trainee Therapist Atma Shakti Vidyalaya, Program Officer at Ashagram Trust, a Research Lecturer at Manthan Center, FRL, HT Researcher, Visiting Lecturer in Christ College Bangalore, Community Organization, Rural Development Teaching, then she worked for some time in Bangalore University.
