Mobile phone blast leaves bike rider injured in Mysore

A bike rider was seriously injured after his mobile phone exploded while he was travelling to Hullahalli. Sudden explosion from the phone while he was trying to attend a call, took him by shock and he collapsed on the ground with his bike.

Mysore (Karnataka): A bike rider was seriously injured on Monday after his mobile phone exploded while he was travelling.

The incident took place near Nanjangud Taluka's Hullahalli village here.

Identified as H M Basavaraju, the man was travelling from Kurihundi to Hullahalli on his bike.

While on the way, he took out his mobile phone out of his pocket to receive a phone call.

It was then, that the mobile phone suddenly exploded, taking him by shock. As a result of this, he lost control over his bike and collapsed on the ground with it.

Basavaraju was later admitted to a private hospital with a severe head injury from the fall.
