Bidar (Karnataka):In defiance of the social distancing guidelines, which ban all kinds of gathering including mass religious ones, some patients offered namaz (mass prayer) at the quarantine ward of District Headquarters Hospital of Karnataka's Bidar on Saturday.
According to sources, Minister of Animal Husbandry and in-charge of the district, Prabhu Chauhan had visited the hospital's isolation ward yesterday. On this occasion, some corona positive patients in the ward were noticed sitting down from their bed and offering mass prayer.
Minister was stunned for a while and said, "It is not the right place and time to do this, it must be done at home. Entire India and the world is shouting to maintain social distance and you have to maintain the same."
