Karnataka youth reunites with his family after 15 years

Akash, a 23-year old man hailing from Shivamogga district in Karnataka went missing from a hostel at Motebennur when he was eight years old. But now after 15 years, he was reunited with family. From past fifteen years, Raghavendra, owner of a game zone shop took care of him and brought him up like his own brother.

Hubballi(Karnataka): A man from Karnataka, who had been missing for fifteen years, has been reunited with his family. Akash, a 23-year old man hailing from Shivamogga district in Karnataka went missing from a hostel at Motebennur when he was eight years old. Working as a porter at Gandhi Market, Akash was brought up by a family in Hubballi.

From past fifteen years, Raghavendra, owner of a game zone shop took care of him and brought him up like his own brother.

Akash's life took a turn when he met a woman last week, who turned out to be his grandmother. After watching his behaviour and body movements, Akash's grandmother identified him. This incident changed Akash's life and now his parents came to Hubballi to take him back home.

''We searched a lot for our son but we were not able to trace him. We came to know about him only through his grandmother. He told her the names of his parents and that he had gone missing from a hostel'',said Akash's parents whose faces were beaming with joy.

Expressing his happiness, Akash said that he will be a bridge between his parents and Raghuvendra.
