Karnataka soldier quarantines self at a farm after returning from Jammu

In a wake to contain the spread of deadly coronavirus pandemic, an Indian Army soldier decided to quarantine self at his farm in Karnataka's Gadag after he returned from Jammu for his marriage to be held this month. However, his COVID-19 test results came negative but the doctors advised him to undergo home quarantine.

Gadag (Karnataka):An Indian Army soldier, who returned from Jammu for his marriage, has quarantined himself at his agricultural field at Jantali Shiruru village in Karnataka's Gadag as a precautionary measure to avoid the spread of coronavirus infection.

Somesh Pujara has been serving the Army for 9 years and his marriage got fixed for July. He returned from Jammu through a flight and got himself tested for COVID-19 after landing at Bengaluru.

However, his test results came negative but the doctors advised him to undergo home quarantine.

After reaching his native village by a private vehicle, he relocated himself at his farm in a pumphouse.

His family members visit him daily to provide him with food and inquire about his well-being while maintaining social distancing.
