Belagavi: The 'Bhumi Pujan' of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is scheduled to take place on August 5. During the auspicious ceremony, organized by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, the foundation stone of the temple will be laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. For the auspicious ceremony, Muhurtham was fixed by Savant N.R Vijayendra Sharma from Karnataka's Belagavi.
Sharma had given four dates, July 29, July 31, August 3, and August 5 for the Bhumi Pujan of Ram Mandir. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has Selected August 5. He has also fixed many Muhurths for the leading political leader including prime ministers for their swearing-in ceremony.
Savant N.R Vijayendra Sharma from Karnataka's Belagavi "Following the request of Govind Devagiri Maharaj of Pune, who is a trusty of Ramjanmabhoomi, I have given four Muhurtham on July 29, July 31, August 3, and August 5. August 5 is considered a great day and it is also a muhurtham of Bhadr. That is why the Ramajanmabhoomi Trust has selected August 5 for the foundation laying ceremony of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya," Vijayendra Sharma told ETV Bharat.
"Some people say that the muhurtham of Ram mandir is ominous, But there is no ominous time for God and the work of God also. So, the muhurtham which is fixed by me is perfectly suited for the Bhoomi Pujan of the Ram Mandir. I had the desire to attend the auspicious ceremony, but due to health issues, I am not allowed to travel," Sharma added.
