Mobile phone explodes in man's pocket in Karnataka

A man from Kolar had to be treated in the hospital as his VIVO phone exploded inside his pant pockets. His left leg was injured and his foot got fractured.

Kolar: In a shocking incident, a VIVO mobile phone exploded inside pocket of a 25-year-old man while he was on his way to vote in Karnataka's Tarabahalli Gate on April 18.

The incident took place nearby Hosakote - Chintamani road. The injured has been identified as R. Gangadhar, a resident of Kottapet in Kolar district.

He received injuries in his left leg and after he fell down his foot got fractured.

Gangadhar was travelling with his mother on a bike to vote for the second phase of Lok Sabha election when the phone blasted in his pant pocket.

The people present at the spot instead of helping them were busy making videos. Later on, the victims were sent to a private hospital.
