Bengaluru: The University of Mysore has put candidates of the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) in a tough spot after it published a wrong answer key for its Journalism and Mass Communication test.
It was learned that the answer key to 30 questions were wrong. Though the candidates are allowed to raise objections, the appellant will have to pay a fee of Rs 1,000 per question. In the given situation, each candidate may be forced to pay a fee of Rs 30,000 for 30 questions.
The answer key for KSET 2020 was released on October 1 in PDF file formats on the varsity's official website.
Questions for the journalism and media communication subject are selected from current affairs and hence, answers are not book-bound.
