Karnataka: Couple ends life due to ill-health

A couple identified as Prameela (45) and Ramu(55) hailing from Mulubaagilu town in Karnataka ended their life by consuming poison in a friend's home due to the frustration of ill health.

Kolar (Karnataka):A couple committed suicide in Kolar district of Karnataka due to the frustration of ill health, police said.

The couple hailing from Mulubaagilu town in Karnataka was identified as Prameela (45) and Ramu(55).

According to the police, the duo was facing problems of Diabetes and Ramu's one leg was amputated by the doctor and it advised them to take dialysis.

The doctor informed that they had lost interest in life because of prolonged illness, and this led to death.

The frustrated couple ended their life by consuming cyanide in his friend's home, police added.

The bodies have been sent for post-mortem. Further investigation into the matter is underway.
