Karnataka: Police open fire on being attacked by murder accused

Police personnel opened fire at four murder-accused after they attacked the cops. Police arrested the four accused after shooting them in their legs.

Anekal (Karnataka): The Attibele police fired at four murder accused after they attacked cops near Muttanallur in Karnataka's Anekal taluk.

According to reports, the police had gone to the spot to arrest the four accused in the murder of a 23-year-old.

The accused who suffered bullet injuries have been identified as Gopi, Ganga, Basava, and Anant.

According to reports, the four accused attacked four constables, following which Anekal DySP Mahadev, Inspector Krishna, Inspector Satish, and Sarjapur SI Harish shot at the accused's legs.

The police then managed to arrest the four accused.

Currently, four police constables and four accused are availing treatment at the Annekal Hospital.

Earlier on October 30, 23-year-old Vinuth was horribly slaughtered in the middle of the road near Attibele.
