K'taka CM's car violated traffic rules, fine pending for 4 months

HD Kumaraswamy's car has been booked for violating traffic rules. According to a senior traffic officer, the fine is pending for the past four months. Kumaraswamy's driver was using phone while driving which was captured by an automated camera.

Bengaluru:City traffic police have slapped a fine on Karnataka chief minister HD Kumaraswamy's high end-car, a Range Rover, for violating traffic rules. However, the fine is pending for the past four months.

Kumaraswamy's car booked for violating traffic rules

On February 10 in Sadashiva Nagar, Kumaraswamy's car driver was using a mobile phone while driving which was captured by an automated camera installed by the roadside.On the basis of the footage, traffic police issued a notice to Kumaraswamy to pay the fine.A senior officer said, "As per the rules, the fine should be paid within seven days after the bill generates. However, even after 2 weeks, post the traffic police issued notice, the fine is pending."
