Bengaluru: Following the portfolio announcement of new ministers who took an oath of office on Wednesday as a part of Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa's 17-month old cabinet expansion, resentment among many ministers has come to the fore.
The dissatisfied ministers, Gopala Gowda, Narayana Gowda and M. T. B. Nagaraj are holding a meeting at Dr Sudhakar's residence.
Expressing his displeasure over the allocated portfolio, Gopala said, "I have given better service during Corona which even centre appreciated."
MTB Nagaraj is also upset with the excise ministry and said he had resigned from the post of Housing Minister when he was in other party but now he is being given the same ministry in which he is not interested.
Sudhakar said, "I have managed the medical education ministry well along with health ministry. But medical ministry is taken away from me which is disappointing."
The new portfolio list was sent to the Raj Bhavan for the governor Governor Vajubhai Vala's approval.
While seven new ministers were added, a few old ministers were given new portfolios as a part of the reshuffle.
