Chikmagalur (Karnataka): An ailing two-month-old baby was transported from Shivamogga to Mangaluru, a distance of around 250 kilometres, in just three hours, as the police provided a green corridor for the ambulance.
Karnataka ambulance covers 250 km in 3 hours to save baby's life According to reports, a two-month-old, who was availing treatment at a hospital in Shivamogga, had to be urgently shifted a hospital in Mangaluru.
On the request of the driver, the police agreed to ensure zero traffic on the entire stretch of road that the ambulance was scheduled to take.
With no traffic on the streets, the ambulance safely transported the baby to Mangaluru, around 250 kilometres away, in just three hours.
