Bagalkot (Karnataka):Inspired by Narendra Modi, who sold tea for a living but went on to become the Prime Minister of the world's largest democracy, an engineer from Karnataka has given up his job and set up a tea stall in Karnataka's Bagalkot city. Amir Sohail, who is the cynosure of all eyes in his native at Bagalkot, has named his tea stall 'Engineer Ban Gaya Chaiwala'. "Savour technical chai," his board further reads.
After completing his studies, Sohail got employed with a Japanese multinational brand. However, he soon gave up his job and returned to his native place where he opened the tea stall. "PM Narendra Modi is my inspiration. If a chaiwala can become the prime minister, then why can an engineer not be a chaiwala?" Sohail said.
