Bengaluru (Karnataka):The High Court has responded to the bail of Kashmiri youths who have been arrested in Hubli on charges of shouting 'Pakistan Zindabad' and adjourned the case till April 24th.

High Court said that it does not appear that the accused were guilty of treason.

The High Court's single-member bench is hearing the bail pleas of accused Basit Ashiq Sofi, Talib Majeed and Aamir Mohideenwani.

Upon review of the case records, it is reportedly found that there is no evidence that the applicant is guilty of treason.

Government lawyers had brought to the court's notice that the alleged students had received scholarships from the central government. But Lawyer stated that they are shocked because the Judge did not mention this matter in the trial hearing.

The court said that when the accused students receive a scholarship, the Central Government has taken note of their origins and background. You can't see everything on the assumption that only one group is a misdeed. The prosecution's case needs to be viewed from a broader perspective.
