Bengaluru:The Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru was inundated with rainwater. Therefore, passengers have been ferried on a tractor from the airport. Heavy rains have been lashing Bangaluru for the past week. Therefore, roads have been flooded with rainwater. Traffic in front of the terminal at Kempegowda International Airport was disrupted.
Motorists and four-wheelers had a tough time as traffic snarls took place at KR Pura, Mahadevapura, Hosakote, Jalahalli, Yashwantpur, Majestic, Horamau, Banaswadi and many other places due to heavy rainfall. The drains overflowed inundating roads and causing trouble to the motorists. The Meteorological Department forecasted more rains in the city for the next two days due to the depression in the Bay of Bengal.
