Bengaluru:As heavy rains lashed Bengaluru on Wednesday, several low-lying areas in the city were seen underwater. Rainwater entered homes and flooded roads and streets.
Waterlogging was reported in several low-lying areas - Sahakar Nagar, Horamavu, Hennur, Dasarahalli, Peenya and HBR Layout, according to residents.
Meanwhile, the control room of Bengaluru’s civic body, the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP), received several complaints of rain-related damages.
The India Meteorological Department has predicted generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers in the next three days with maximum and minimum temperature at 31 degrees and 21 degrees Celsius respectively.
