HDK lays foundation stone for Karnataka Bhavan in New Delhi

Karnataka CM laid foundation stone for new Karnataka Bhavan named 'Cauvery' in New Delhi.

New Delhi: Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy laid foundation stone for new building of Karnataka Bhavan-I at Chanakyapuri in New Delhi today.

Karnataka government had earlier decided to build new Karnataka Bhavan 'Cauvery' by demolishing existing building.

PWD Minister Revanna and BS Yeddyurappa were also present during the foundation laying ceremony of the Karnataka Bhawan building.

Kumaraswamy along with other state ministers and staff of Karnataka Bhawan took part in the Puja rituals the new building.

The new building will come up at the cost of 82 crores. Previous Congress government headed by Siddaramaiah had approved the construction of new building.
