Former Minister Anand Asnotikar caught with gun at Bengaluru Airport

A licensed gun was found in the possession of former Minister Anand Asnotikar at Kempegowda International Airport of Bengaluru.

Bengaluru:Former Minister Anand Asnotikar was caught with a gun in his bag at Kempegowda International Airport of Bengaluru.

Asnotikar arrived at the airport to travel to Goa at 11 A.M after which the airport staff took him for the Security Checkup. It is there a gun was found in his bag following which the Former Minister was detained.

After detaining, the Airport Authority took him to the Airport Police Station and enquired about the gun.

Asnotikar informed the Police that the gun is a Licenced one and that he carried it with him for security reasons.

However, the Security detained the Asnotikar for not carrying the proper legal documents relating to the gun.

After inspecting the gun-related documents, the Police released him.
