Bengaluru: Former Karnataka Minister Roshan Baig was on Saturday granted bail in I Monetary Advisory (IMA) case by a Special CBI Court.
Baig was arrested by the CBI on October 22 and is in Parappana Agrahara jail after the special court remanded him in judicial custody.
He is alleged to have received several crores in kickbacks when the IMA allegedly cheated a large number of investors, mainly Muslims, after promising them impressive return on their deposits.
