MD, CEO of private company stabbed to death by former employee in Bengaluru

The deceased have been identified as Phanindra Subrahmanyam, the Managing Director and Vinu Kumar, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Aironics Media Private Limited, a company specializing in internet services.

Bengaluru: In a shocking incident, a Managing Director and a CEO of a private company were hacked to death by their former colleague in Karnataks's Bengaluru on Tuesday.

The deceased have been identified as Phanindra Subrahmanyam, the Managing Director and Vinu Kumar, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Aironics Media Private Limited, a company specializing in internet services.

The alleged perpetrator, identified as Felix, was a former employee of the company. According to police sources, Felix had previously worked closely with Phanindra and had later established his own competing business. The incident took place in a residential area of Amruthahalli, located in north Bengaluru.

During the attack, which occurred around 4 pm, Felix and two accomplices arrived at the office building on a two-wheeler. They had been waiting for Phanindra, who soon entered the building. Following a discussion that lasted approximately 20 minutes, Felix launched a brutal assault on Phanindra fatally stabbing him with sharp objects.

Vinu Kumar, upon hearing the commotion, rushed to Phanindra's chamber in an attempt to intervene and save him. Unfortunately, he too became a target of Felix and his associates' vicious attack. The office had approximately 10 employees present at the time of the murders. Following the stabbing of the CEO and MD, the accused threatened the remaining employees before making their escape.

The Amruthahalli police have registered a case of murder and formed four teams to apprehend the accused. Law enforcement officials are currently pursuing leads to determine the whereabouts of Felix.

According to records from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Aironics Media Private Limited was registered on November 7, 2022. The company's directors are Sreeja Kanjirakattu Krishnamarar and Subramanyam Phanindra.
