Father of late CCD Founder VG Siddhartha passes away

Gangaiah Hegde, father of Cafe Coffee Founder VG Siddhartha died at the age of 96 on Sunday at hospital Shanthaveri Gopala Gowda in Mysore. The old man was suffering from age-related issues and after the death of his son, he was in a coma.

Mysore: Gangaiah Hedge (96), father of Cafe Coffee Founder late VG Siddhartha, passed away at a hospital in Mysore this afternoon.

For a month, Gangaiah Hegde was admitted to Shanthaveri Gopala Gowda hospital in Mysore, which is run by a relative of Siddhartha’s father-in-law and former Chief Minister of Karnataka, SM Krishna.

His family remarked that he (Gangaiah Hegde) was suffering from age-related issues and after the death of his son, he was in a coma.

Siddhartha had gone to Mysore to see his father, a few days before he died.

According to his cousin, the son was in tears on seeing his father’s deteriorating health.
